In a story out of Duke University in North Carolina, police broke up a women oil wrestling match at a fraternity. A noise complaint was called on the frat, the hosts of the event on that evening in January 2005. When police arrived on scene, one of the first things they realized was the event was being recorded on a video camera. Oil, an inflatable pool, bikini-clad women, and about 200 spectators filled the residence, with the event was set up in the basement. In a public statement, Durham Police Sgt. D. Gunter said, "Inside were several of America's future, re-enacting a scene from the movie Old School, where females wrestle in a pool of lubricants." An extremely popular movie among college age students, one scene in Old School featured two topless women wrestling. The students were issued a $150 fine for violating a noise ordinance in the Durham neighborhood.
