Chyna

Chyna, also known as Joanie Laurer, is perhaps one of the most well known female wrestlers in WWE and WWF history. Chyna has extended her career beyond professional wrestling and into the ranks of acting. Chyna entered the WWF as the manager of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, late known as Triple H. Chyna began her career on the side of the ring but quickly became a part of the physicality of professional wrestling. Chyna got into several minor disputes with male wrestlers and wrestled other females on several occasions. Chyna is truly a pioneer in women’s wrestling and was frequently called the Ninth Wonder of the World because of her remarkable physique.

Chynna entered the WWF in the late 90s and stayed until 2001 when she left for personal reasons. Sometimes called Chynna Doll, Chyna the wrestler will always be remembered for her distinct muscular appearance and the joy she brought to wrestling fans. Later in the early 2000s, wrestling diva Chyna made appearances on the independent wrestling circuit, as well as in Japan. Chyna is well known throughout the world and has a great following of fans.

Chyna Doll the wrestler turned her sights to modeling and acting after leaving wrestling. Chyna the female wrestler also wrote an autobiography that sold a very high number of copies. After Chyna’s wrestling career she was arrested for domestically abusing her boyfriend wrestler Sean Waltman. Wrestler Chyna appeared on the VH1 television show the Surreal Life later in 2005 under her real name of Joanie Lee although she is primarily known as WWE wrestler Chyna. She appeared on the surreal Life with Adrienne Curry, Christopher Knight, Marcus Schenkenberg, Verne Troyer, Da Brat, and Jane Wiedlin. She has appeared on a number of other television shows such as Larry King Live and Surreal Life Fame Games. Chyna has also appeared in Playboy and was part of an X-rated sex tape entitled One Night in Chyna. Chyna has done a lot to bolster her fame and keep her career going despite a number of personal problems.
