Wrestling Society X was a short-lived wrestling series that aired on MTV2 and MTV from January to March of 2007. The show was not extremely popular and failed to get picked up for another season at MTV. All that exists of this short-lived experiment is a DVD of the first and only season titled, “Wrestling Society X: The Complete First and Last Season (The Meteoric Rise & Fall Of An International Wrestling Promotion Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Pro Wrestling).” The show still runs repeats on the MTV network and has gained something of a cult status among wrestling afficionados.
